PM Realty wanted to show what the views were going to look like from their new high-rise condominiums. The problem was, the complex was still being built. It’s located at Park Lane & Central Expressway (75) in Dallas, TX. Just in case you want to see it in person… or Google Map’s Street view?
It’s often easier to move things that are in the shot, rather than retouch them out. But when they are 20 story cranes, you move them out of the shot as best you can. After removing enough of the cranes and making a few color adjustments, we then decided the horizon would look nicer from a floor or two lower. I guess the penthouse doesn’t have the best view for once. Stephen Karlisch captured these images for us. And yes I know there is still a crane and some pieces of wood in the lower left. It was cropped out in the final image. I like seeing more of the highway’s streaking car lights, and I hope you do too.
The client wanted me to remove the construction elevator from the side of the also unfinished apartments on the right and include a moving Dart Train (with reflection) to show the close proximity of urban transport.
Okay this image’s retouching is pretty minor, but I thought you might want to see what the building looked like when it was finished. I must of done a great job for this client, because another 4 story building was built where the trees & parking lot are in this picture.
